Custom dashboards

Build dashboards in the portal that mix CloudVision360, ITOps360, AgentVision360 and BackupVision360 data, read live as each viewer. Templates, widgets, sharing, filters and export.

Under Dashboards in the portal’s icon rail you can build your own dashboards from any app you use: cloud spend next to tickets at risk, AI budgets next to backup success. A dashboard is only a definition (name, widgets, layout and default filters). The numbers are always read live, as the person looking at it, so sharing a dashboard never shares data: two people opening the same dashboard can see different numbers, or “You don’t have access to this data”.

Start from a template, or describe it

Open Dashboards → New dashboard and pick a template. Only the widgets your apps and roles support are added.

Template For
CIO overview Executives and IT leaders: cloud and AI spend, open risks, tickets at risk, compliance, patch compliance, SLA met, backup success, and what is due in the next 90 days across apps
Service desk lead Tickets opened and resolved, at risk, SLA met, technician workload, tickets per week by priority, announcements and approvals
FinOps Cloud and AI spend, budgets used, spend by account, team and provider, top savings, budgets near their limit
Security posture Findings by severity, compliance, Zero Trust, open risks, expiring credentials and AI keys, devices needing attention, remediations waiting
AI governance AI spend and budget, key ownership, autonomy tiers, tokens by model, unowned keys, AI alerts and approvals
Backup & recovery Protected items, backup success, RPO compliance, unprotected resources, coverage, immutability, failed backups, restore approvals, storage
Service provider portfolio Provider organizations: tickets, SLA, patching, backup success, workload, spend and risks

Or type what you want under Describe your dashboard (“a dashboard for my service desk lead and AI spend by provider”), or ask Vision the same in chat. You get a draft preview, nothing saved, with Create and Adjust. This is deterministic matching against the templates and widgets; no AI model is involved, and no data is used to learn.

The service provider portfolio shows your own organization, and a customer’s data only while you work in that customer’s organization. A roll-up across customers isn’t built.

Widgets

Widget Shows
Number One value, its change against the previous period of the same length, an optional target
Chart Line, bars, stacked bars or a table over time or by category
Progress A value against a goal, or a status split
Workload Open, at-risk and overdue tickets per technician (ITOps360)
List The top items that need attention, worst first, linking into the app
Timeline What is due in the next 30, 60 or 90 days, merged from up to six sources across apps
Text A short note with headings, bullets and bold

The widget picker only offers sources from your apps that your role can read, grouped by purpose (Service desk, Devices, Security, Cost, AI governance, Backup, Approvals). Each widget loads on its own; if one app is down, the others still show.

Layout

In Edit mode, drag a widget’s grip to move it and its corner to resize it; every move and resize also has buttons (earlier, later, wider, narrower, taller, shorter) for keyboard users. On narrower screens the grid has fewer columns, and on a phone widgets stack in order.

Filters and refresh

Filter by time range, team, site, cloud account, cloud provider and app. A widget whose app can’t apply a filter says Filter not applied. The owner can Save as default; your own changes are kept in your browser only. Refresh reloads every widget; Auto-refresh every 5 minutes is off by default.

Sharing

  • Private (the default), people (up to 50 in your organization), or the whole organization.
  • Sharing with the organization needs portal administrator rights, and a dashboard shared with the organization then belongs to the organization: administrators manage it, everyone else can view it and Duplicate to my dashboards.
  • Private dashboards stay private, even from administrators.
  • Up to 20 dashboards per person and 24 widgets per dashboard. Creating, changing, sharing, deleting and exporting dashboards is audited (names and counts, never data).

Export

Export a dashboard as PDF or PowerPoint with the current data as you see it, with the title, filters, date and organization. Charts are vector shapes, not pictures.

Favorites

Star an app or a dashboard on My Apps to pin it to a Favorites row at the top, in the order you choose.

Also from Vision and your AI tools

Charts you ask Vision for can be pinned, and your own AI tools can read your dashboards through the AI connector.
